【摘要】:1.1Thistestmethoddeterminestheratingofdieselfueloilintermsofanarbitraryscaleofcetanenumbersusingastandardsinglecylinder,four-strokecycle,variablecompressionratio,indirectinjecteddieselengine.1.2Thecetanenumberscalecoverstherangefromzero(0)to100buttypicaltestingisintherangeof30to65cetanenumber.1.3ThevaluesforoperatingconditionsarestatedinSIunitsandareconsideredstandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesarethehistoricalinch-poundsunits.Inaddition,theenginemeasurementscontinuetobeininch-poundsunitsbecauseoftheextensiveandexpensivetoolingthathasbeencreatedfortheseunits.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Formorespecifichazardstatements,seeAnnexA1.
